Ethically sourced coffee relies on transparency from bean to cup with direct trade. Why is this important? Because only through direct trade, roasters can ensure that farmers receive fair wages and sustainable practices are followed.
ROASTING ON AN ELECTRIC ROASTER.
Ratio Coffee roasts on a Giesen WE 6 series, powered by green energy. Moving away from the usual gas roaster to renewable energy is an important step for us to make coffee a more sustainable product.

Ratio Coffee Roastery focusses on small batch roasting, and offers a variety of beans from smooth, chocolaty breakfast coffees to vibrant highlights. Through a gentle roasting process with a lot of personal care, and roasting small quantities (maximum 6 kg), we are able to better control all parameters that influence the flavour profile.

Pets are always welcome – bring your dog, cat – or lama. You can taste our beans there, expertly brewed by our team of baristas, and also get professional advice on the perfect bean for you.
